About Me
I am 29. I am happily married to a man who thinks I’m funny or at least has the decency to pretend really well. I have two amazing kids, two cats, six chickens, one dog and one blind hamster (more chickens coming soon… no more hamsters, blind or otherwise). I am a cleaning lady or a housekeeper or a maid or landscaper, depends on the day. I really, really like my job, surprisingly so. There is something very zen about scrubbing. I also go to school: I’m on an experimental plan in which I take no more than one class at a time. So far it is working very well, I’m getting an A in math and may eventually end up with a useless PhD. (Not really all you angry college graduates… you are wonderful.) I love science and animals and gore and body parts so I’m trying to find a career path involving those. Or I may open a Taxidermy shop someday.
I love to sew and get crafty. I am a huge bookworm and am usually reading at least 4 books at a time. I love music, but I can’t play anything. My husband and son play guitar and piano and drums, so I live vicariously through them. I love gardening and quirky television and movies. I hate chick flicks and soft comedies. I am very very picky and am often accused of being a snob. I’m ok with that. I have a culinary arts degree that I don’t use but would love to do something with someday (just not working in a restaurant. hrm.). I love to visit other countries but since I can’t afford to be a world traveler right now I just watch a lot of National Geographic channel. I’m kind of socially awkward, but I’m getting better. I play World of Warcraft and am really intrigued with the idea of live action role playing. I have really good intentions and problems with follow through.
I have really big hair.
